Deleting your data

Three ways to remove your data from Venturial: disconnect a single integration, revoke our access from Facebook, or delete your account entirely.

1What this page is for

This page explains how to delete the data Venturial holds about you, including anything we received from Facebook or Instagram when you connected those accounts to Venturial Studio.

Pick the option that matches what you want removed. Option 1 is immediate and self-service; option 3 removes everything.

2Option 1: Disconnect a social account

This is the fastest route and it takes effect immediately. It removes everything we hold for that specific Facebook Page or Instagram account while leaving the rest of your workspace intact.

  • Sign in to Venturial Studio at studio.venturial.io.
  • Open Social in the sidebar.
  • Find the connected account and choose Disconnect.
  • Its access token, profile details, synced comments and draft posts are deleted from our systems right away.

3Option 2: Revoke access from Facebook

You can also cut our access off from Meta’s side. Doing this invalidates our token but does not by itself delete records already stored with us, so pair it with option 1 or option 3.

  • Go to facebook.com/settings, then Apps and Websites.
  • Find Venturial in the list of active apps.
  • Choose Remove, and tick the box to delete posts and activity the app published on your behalf if you want those gone too.
  • Then email us, or use option 1, so we delete our copy of the associated records.

4Option 3: Delete your account and all data

To remove your Venturial account and everything associated with it, send us a request and we will process it.

  • Email us from the address registered on your account.
  • Use the subject line "Data deletion request".
  • Tell us whether you want your personal user account deleted, or your entire organization workspace with all of its data.
  • We may ask one verification question before proceeding, to be sure the request is genuine.

5What gets deleted

A full deletion removes:

  • Your profile, login identifiers and session history.
  • All access tokens and credentials for connected Facebook, Instagram and other third-party accounts.
  • Posts, campaigns, brand profiles, schedules and generated media created in the platform.
  • Comments, mentions and messages synced into your inbox.
  • Investor records, cap table entries and data room documents belonging to the deleted workspace.
  • Uploaded files in our object storage.

6What we keep, and why

A small amount of data survives deletion because the law requires it or because it contains no personal data:

  • Invoices, payment records and tax documents, retained for the period required by law in our jurisdictions.
  • Security and audit logs, retained for a limited window to investigate abuse, then purged.
  • Aggregated, anonymized statistics that cannot be linked back to you.

7How long it takes

Disconnecting a social account is immediate. A full account deletion request is acknowledged within 5 business days and completed within 30 days. Encrypted backups are overwritten on their normal rotation, within 90 days at most.

8Confirmation

When a deletion is complete we send a written confirmation to the requesting address, listing what was removed and anything retained under the previous section. If you do not receive it, reply to your original request and we will follow up.
